What is the difference between joint and sole legal custody/time-sharing?

Well the difference here in the State of Florida is we have time sharing, our shared parenting. The parties are presumptively given shared parenting. Each party has an opportunity to be involved with the daily activities in the child rearing process. Now as to the issue of sole custody, that's not really a matter here in the State of Florida. The minor children might reside with one parent primarily; however, no parent can be deprived of time sharing with their child. It might be supervised, but they will always have the right to be involved with the lives of their children, perhaps minimized with certain standards.
