What factors go into determining custody/time-sharing and parenting time in Florida?

Well, the state of Florida guarantees each parent parenting time. That's why we have time sharing. That is a presumption. However, as to where the minor child or minor children will live, the court does look at which parent would encourage a relationship with the other parent, which parent is involved with the day to day activities of the children and their school. It also looks at whether or not there has been any violence in the past and the community involvement. There are several factors that the court would consider in determining where the child resides.
